I suck at making friends, it always feels like hard work or I feel as if I'm being creepy. I'm not hugely talkative, so the usual "hey, whats up?" general chit chat bores me. But then I have trouble opening up to talk about anything else for fear of being judged. So I just stay quiet and hope someone will do all the work without creeping me out.
And when they do, they tend to give up quickly because I can't reciprocate. And that really upsets me.

Possibly the worst thing about doing an IT job is spending time sorting someones problem out at their desk, using their keyboard and mouse. Then 30 minutes later seeing them walk out of the toilet without bothering to wash their hands. :(
I should wear gloves.

I've been straightening it for the past few weeks. Only takes 5 minutes, but I'm not getting much better at avoiding burning my ears and the bits around the back just refuse to go straight anyway. It looks ok, but I'm not 100% happy with it.
I keep thinking about going back to dreads. I liked them, but didn't take enough care with them. They take a lot of time every few days to keep nice, but the effort is worth it in the end. Hrm. They do make it harder to exercise though, mainly down to needing to keep them clean but not cleaning them too often while they are new.
Don't really fancy going back to ultra short either, it looks decent but then you just end up looking like everyone else. Not that I want to stand out, I just don't want to blend in :p
I might just walk into a pretentious hair place for men and let them do whatever they like, but that has a chance of turning out....poorly.
